Discover how to turn good ideas into practice with insights by Dr. Nadine Siebdrath and experts in WWT journal, supported by BMBF's WavE program.

The image shows a modern industrial water treatment facility interior, featuring large white cylindrical tanks, various control panels with gauges and switches, and gray metal piping, emphasizing advanced engineering and technology in wastewater management.

From Development to Practice

Many companies, research institutes and universities are faced with the same question: How can good ideas be successfully put into practice? What challenges need to be overcome? And how can the process be organised efficiently to save time and resources?

Our colleague Dr Nadine Siebdrath answers these and other interesting questions together with Dr Angela Ante (SMS group GmbH) and Dr Christoph Scope (TU Dresden) in the guideline ‘Industrial water treatment: from development to practice’.

The guide was created in connection with the funding programme ‘Water technologies: Reuse’ (WavE) funding programme of the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF).

In the current issue of the trade journal WWT – Wasserwirtschaft Wassertechnik, the team of authors uses selected projects to provide a well-founded insight into the guidelines and their practical implementation.
