DAS Environmental Experts: A Film Portrait
How can leadership responsibilities, professional development, and family life be balanced? A new film portrait by the corporate network “Erfolgsfaktor Familie” offers insights into everyday life at DAS Environmental Experts. We are pleased to now be part of the network and to use our colleagues’ personal experiences to show how we put work-life balance into practice.
As a family-run environmental technology company, we take responsibility for our environment and for the people who work with us. Family-friendliness has been an integral part of our corporate culture since our founding. In our day-to-day work, this means taking different life situations into account and working together to find suitable solutions.
Personal Insights into Achieving Work-Life Balance
In the video, our employees from Marketing and Manufacturing demonstrate what these solutions look like in practice. One example is taking on a team leadership role in Marketing while continuing to work part-time. The solution we developed together creates space for leadership responsibilities as well as for family and volunteer work.
Another example illustrates a career path from an apprenticeship as a mechatronics technician to a team leadership role, along with support for continuing education to become a master craftsman. By counting evening continuing education hours toward the time account, the employee gained flexibility for exam preparation and family life.
