A Strong Ecosystem for Sustainable High-Tech Manufacturing

Semiconductor production builds on a strong ecosystem of companies, technologies and expertise that make high-volume manufacturing possible. 

During a tour of the production facilities, CEO René Reichardt provided insights into how DAS Environmental Experts GmbH develops and manufactures advanced waste gas treatment and wastewater treatment systems for the semiconductor industry. These technologies contribute to reliable, efficient and more sustainable production processes in high-tech manufacturing. 

The visit took place ahead of the opening of Infineon’s Smart Power Fab in Dresden. The project is considered an important milestone for Europe’s semiconductor industry and demonstrates how close collaboration between industry, policymakers and authorities can accelerate major innovation projects.
