Material Management at DAS Environmental Experts
What We Expect from Our Suppliers
Our systems for waste gas and wastewater treatment enable safety, environmental protection and production stability at customer site. Our suppliers contribute to this significantly with their own standards of quality. Therefore, we favor partners who also devote themselves to the requirements for quality according to ISO 9001 and environmental management according to ISO 14001. Together, we maintain a continuous improvement process. Furthermore, we ask our suppliers to assure flexible processes regarding critical delivery times, demonstrate long-term commitment, contribute to product and process innovation and cooperate in development projects. Being a Dresden based company we feel connected with this region by collaborating with regional suppliers to support the local economy and reducing emissions of CO2 by minimizing goods transportation wherever possible.
Our Purchasing Policy
The DAS Environmental Experts purchasing policy reflects our company policy as well as our company objectives. Customer satisfaction is at the forefront of these. The success of our products is closely linked to their quality; for this reason, we tackle our customers’ requirements together with suppliers, thereby improving our competitiveness on a shared basis. We place trust in our suppliers and count on a fair, long-term collaboration. Firstly, we expect partners to respond flexibly to our requirements. Secondly, we also expect them to work together with us, to establish where potential may lie for innovations or cost reductions. As an environmental technology company, we also expect that our suppliers adhere to all legal requirements relating to environmental protection and resource-efficient management, and we prefer suppliers with corresponding certification. Based in the German state of Saxony, we have close ties to the region and therefore favor collaboration with regional suppliers

DAS EE’s Approach to E‑Billing
From 1 January 2025, companies in Germany will be legally obliged to receive e‑invoices. An e‑invoice is a digital invoice transmitted in a machine-readable format such as ZUGFeRD or XRechnung. These formats allow automated processing, making the exchange of invoices faster and more efficient. It also reduces the administrative burden, shortens processing times and digitises business processes. According to the Federal Ministry of Finance, there will be a transition period for issuing and transmitting e‑invoices until 1 January 2027. From then on, companies will be obliged to issue invoices electronically in a structured invoice format. The legal requirements for e‑invoicing are set out in the Growth Opportunities Act (Article 23), the VAT Act (Section 14) and EU Directive 2014/55/EU. E‑invoices must ensure that the origin of the invoice and the content are unaltered and authentic to meet the legal requirements. This includes measures such as a qualified electronic signature or a secure transmission method.
DAS EE is actively preparing for the switch to e‑billing. This promotes transparency, optimises data processing and minimises errors that can occur when paper documents are processed manually. We are currently continuing to create invoices as PDFs and sending them to our customers via the usual channels (email, upload to customer portals, etc.). During the transition period until 1 January 2027, we are working hard to implement the necessary systems and processes for future e‑billing. From 2027 at the latest, we will transmit an electronic, machine-readable format. We are currently able to receive all formats and prefer e‑bills in ZUGFeRD format. We also continue to accept invoices as PDF files by e‑mail to our electronic inbox at . If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us at: .
