Point-of-Use waste gas treatment by rotary fine dust collector DALEA

The systems of the RDC series use centrifugal force to separate the fine dust particles. They are based on the purely mechanical rotor-stator principle.

Waste Gas Treatment – DALEA

Treatment of Waste Gases with DALEA

The rotary fine dust collector reduces the emission of microparticles and very fine dust particles up to 98 %. With a high capacity of 390 m³/h, its compact structure only requires a small floor area. DALEA can generally be connected downstream from most systems for process waste gas disposal. Access for operation and maintenance is from the front or the back.

Functioning principle of the DALEA rotary fine dust collector

A jet of water is atomised by a high-speed rotating disc. The result is a mist of very fine water drops in which dust particles are centrifuged. The rotor ensures that the waste gases are aspirated and thus moved forward without loss of pressure. The turbulence in the shear gap between the rotor and stator ensures that the water mist and particle-laden process gases are mixed together effectively. The fine dust particles are suspended in the water; the purified waste gas can then be released freely into the environment.

DALEA – Reducing micro- and nanoparticle emissions at the point-of-use

DALEA is a rotary fine dust collector for the point-of-use treatment of up to 390 m³/h process waste gases containing particles or aerosols. Thanks to its compact structure, this external fine dust separator only requires a small floor area. In addition, the rotor works as a blower and moves the waste gas forward; this prevents any loss of pressure and even supports the extraction that normally follows.
